Historians agree that MLK, Jr. likely suffered from clinical depression in his lifetime, although he was never officially diagnosed. It's not surprising when we think of the stress and trauma he endured – both increase the risk of depression.

If you too are suffering, remember his wise words, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

Our Story

Lamplight Counseling Services, LLC was founded on the desire to create a family friendly counseling center where our clients could be find comfort. Adults, children and adolescents come to us with a variety challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship family issues, and substance abuse difficulties. Our master’s level licensed clinicians have a wealth of experience in each of their specific treatment areas. Our desire is to see each person's goals achieved in a way that helps foster both growth, and self-confidence.

We are conveniently located four blocks south of the Medina City square. Both evening and weekend hours are available to meet your needs. If you or a family member is struggling give us a call. We are here to help.
