“After 8 years of faithfully serving the DD community through Intervention for Peace, the time has come for me to grow in new places. It was an honor to serve as Program Director but most importantly to work alongside the amazing staff and individuals.

Supporting, empowering and advocating for the individuals has always been my greatest passion and I hope to stay connected to the DD community. Thank you to the staff for their support, kindness and endless efforts they have shown the individuals each day to care for them and help them maintain their independency. My next path leads me to a full time position as a Mental Health therapist. Wishing you all a farewell!” 🤍Jacqueline Storey-White

Recongnizing our DSP Jaron this week!! Thank you Jaron for all of your hard works and efforts to support the individuals you serve🤍

My Name: Jaron Douglass

How long I've been with IFP: 16 months

What I enjoy about my job: Being a DSP is rewarding. Not only do you get to help consumers learn important life skills, you give them companionship. When a consumer fully trusts you and looks to you for advice, the feeling is surreal.

My interests: I am currently a Social Work student at CSU. I love reading, piano, guitar, table top games, and photography.

Something interesting about me you might not know: I played piano at a professional level starting at the age of 14 years old.

Congratulations Connor! We are truly grateful for your internship at IFP and know you will go on to do many great things...
