Meet Daisy, one of our incredible young riders. Riding gave Daisy more than just balance and coordination. It gave her confidence. And you helped make that possible.

Daisy's mom says, "We've worked with countless providers over the years, but nothing has had the impact We Can Ride has had.”

Help all our of riders continue to feel empowered at the barn. Donate today to our End of Year campaign, https://p2p.onecause.com/wcr25

Meet the Client: Lexi!

Lexi has been coming to We Can Ride for 10 years. She originally came after her first orthopedic surgery as part of her rehabilitation. Since then, Lexi has had multiple surgeries, and riding has been part of her recovery every time.

Lexi's mom Janelle says, "She had been doing rehabilitation through traditional methods and was getting very tired and frustrated with it, and decided we would try something different. So initially when we started at We Can Ride, we did an interview where we brought Lexi, and so she got to see the horses, and then she got to meet them, and she felt like she wanted to give it a try and was willing to try it out. And it was a success. And she's been hooked ever since."

When not at We Can Ride, Lexi is very active and enjoys dance as well as other creative pursuits. She also enjoys bringing friends to the barn to share her happy place. Thanks for being part of the We Can Ride community, Lexi! It's been a joy to watch you grow up.

Horses Helping People

Established in 1982, We Can Ride improves the lives of individuals with special needs or disabilities through equine assisted activities and therapy. Every year, over 275 individuals come to us for the physical, mental and emotional benefits of our programs. Anyone with a diagnosis aged two and up is eligible for our work.
