What a fun night we had here as we were selected to have a float in the Holiday Candlight Parade! Thanks to our volunteer Andrew R. Who created our float and to all of the volunteers who helped us make the night great! Happy Holidays!

Thank you to ALL of the elementary school students, family’s and teachers who have been collecting supplies for Forever Amber Acres! You can see how excited these students are helping the community and we are excited to welcome them this spring for a field trip! This school collected over 2,000 items for us!!!!! (And they are only one of four schools that collected items for us). Speechless!

The transformation of Trooper the horse (previously called “Buddy Bud” on the racetrack).

He arrived after quarantine from the slaughter kill pen on 1/4/24.
He was a handful, big and powerful but literally trusted nobody. He’d “strike out” (teeth and legs) at people, grooming brushes and other items used negatively towards him previously.

22 months later, he is often misunderstood as a veteran recently pointed out , can still be a bit of a handful under the wrong circumstances, but under the right circumstances he’s a really sweet boy and continues to make many connections!

For the most part, we understand his triggers and we continue to learn to trust together.
