Depression may manifest itself in various ways for different people. Some of the more uncommon signs of depression include irritability, anger, and being sensitive to rejection. When overcoming mental health issues, substance abuse, or trauma, going at it alone might have negative consequences.

Accepting other people's assistance and love can significantly benefit one with mental health disorders or just feeling alone. To ask for help does not indicate weakness but rather the strength to recognize one's burdens.
