Today, the residents of Whitney Place Tapestry enjoyed a Chinese tea and cookie social, complete with fun photos and great company. We spent time learning interesting facts about China, including details about panda bears.

Today was a beautiful day at Whitney Place Tapestry Memory Care as we celebrated Earth Day together. Our lunch bunch enjoyed an outing filled with meaningful conversation, and wonderful company.
In the afternoon, the celebration continued as we planted seeds—each one a small symbol of growth, hope, and new beginnings. We look forward to caring for them and watching them blossom into beautiful flowers that will bring color to our courtyard. 🌱🌼

Everyday Joy

A few of our residents from the Whitney Place Tapestry community enjoyed a wonderful outing to Dunkin’! ☕🍩 We shared hot coffee, delicious donuts, and even better conversation.
The group spent time reminiscing about their school days, how much things used to cost at the grocery store, and all the fun memories they created growing up with family and friends. It was a great afternoon filled with laughter, connection, and friends.

One of our amazing drivers- Steve, doesn’t just get our residents where they need to go but each month, he brings joy, energy, and connection into our community through his music. Watching our residents light up, sing along, and truly feel the moment is something special!

Creativity, connection, and community all came together beautifully at our recent jewelry-making class, led by Nancy, the talented sister of one of our Independent Living residents of the Willows- Jean, this special workshop was filled with laughter, storytelling and incredible craftsmanship.

Our Independent Living residents of the Willows and Assisted Living residents of Whitney Place absolutely loved getting hands-on—designing their own unique pieces and expressing their creativity in such a meaningful way.

What made this experience even more special was the involvement of our extended community. We are so grateful for the families of our residents who continue to share their time, talents, and passions with us. It truly enriches the lives of everyone here and creates moments that feel like home.

Today at Whitney Place Tapestry, our community was full of creativity and learning!

For our Birders Club, we explored summertime birds of New England and paired the lesson with our Ageless Artists program. Residents created the most adorable bird crafts. It was wonderful to see everyone’s creativity shine while learning something new.

In our “Calling All Cooks” program, we baked delicious cinnamon cloud bread for Passover, which filled the space with warmth and sweet aromas.

It truly was a wonderful day filled with smiles, creativity, and connection here at Whitney Place Tapestry 💛
