Welcome, Dr. Greg Mansfield!! We are so excited to have Dr. Greg join our team this week. 🩺🐾
Dr. Gregory Mansfield earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Raised in nearby Shrewsbury, Dr. Mansfield is excited to return home and serve the community that helped shape his passion for veterinary medicine. Many clients may recognize his last name—he is the son of our beloved Dr. Monica Mansfield—and to keep things simple around the hospital, he’ll be known as “Dr. Greg.”
After graduating, Dr. Greg began his career practicing general medicine in Florida, where he built a strong foundation in preventive care, diagnostics, and client communication. He later returned to Massachusetts to pursue emergency medicine, gaining valuable experience managing urgent and complex cases in a fast-paced clinical environment. His professional interests include neurology, dermatology, ultrasonography, and internal medicine, and he is especially motivated by collaborative problem-solving and delivering thoughtful, compassionate care to both patients and their families.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Greg practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and values staying active. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and shares his home with his cat, El Guapo. He is thrilled to join the hospital team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients while caring for their pets for years to come.
