Ironman Training Transformation

I lost 15 lbs

Before (left picture) February 2025 — 195 lbs
After (Right picture) October 2025 — 180 lbs

Before- I felt really strong in the gym but a bit slow and heavy on my cardio workouts.

After- I feel pretty weak in the gym tbh but faster and much lighter on my cardio workouts.

This year the goal changed. I really wanted to focus on my cardio and become a better triathlete. I’ve done three triathlon races this year and one left to go.

Olympic distance- 2:06
Sprint distance- 59:28
Ironman 70.3- 4:45
Full Ironman- ?? (November 16th)

Got The Call ✈️

First time getting called into over two months. The streak had to come to an end at some point haha. Always feels good getting back in the saddle.

Every time I get called to go fly I remember why I love this job.

6 weeks out from my first Ironman

Going sub 10 is going to be extremely hard. Based on my fitness I think it’s possible but I would probably need the perfect day to make it happen. I’m just going to do my best on that day and see what happens.

The boat is back and running.

I don’t post much boating content but boating/ fishing is one of my favorite chill hobbies. I’m stoked to share some more of this in the near future. I’d love to do some more fishing/ catch and cook content now that I have a reliable engine on the back. No this is not an ad haha but my old 2 stroke Yamaha had been giving me troubles for a long time because it was just old with many hours on it. It had its time and was great for years.

Anyway not my usual content haha but would you all be interested in this type of content for a change?

Workout Today?

This is a question I ask myself every day and a few years ago I started putting up the poll on my IG stories. It keeps me accountable to stay consistent on a daily basis, with the goal of also helping others do the same.

Not every day needs to be an insanely hard workout ,but daily movement with the goal of improving is something we should all strive for.

There’s no other pair of shoes I what on my feet in between and after all of my workouts other than . And now every time I slip them on I get to remind myself I did that workout that I needed to do to get closer to my goals.

Recovery is part of the plan. Train hard, recover hard and make your goals come to life.
