There’s nothing like the joy a furry friend can bring! 🐾

We always look forward to our monthly visit from the Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida, who brought several sweet pups to spend time with our residents. From cuddles to big smiles, the room was full of warmth and wagging tails.

We recently put up gourd houses for the Purple Martins, and they’re already checking them out! These social swallows love nesting in colonies and rely almost entirely on human-provided housing in many areas.

We’re proud to support these incredible aerial insect hunters — they help keep mosquito and flying insect populations in check while putting on an amazing flight show at dusk.

And they’re not the only feathered friends we host! Around here we also welcome:

• Anhinga
• Eastern Bluebirds
• Sandhill Cranes
• Muscovy Ducks
• Goldfinches
• And so many more!

There’s nothing better than seeing our yard full of life and song. 🌾💙 Here’s to another season of nesting, fledging, and watching nature up close!

Our Winter Olympics were an absolute blast—a fantastic test of our speed, endurance, and balance! We raced through speed skating and walking, got super focused with bead sorting, showed our skills in shuffleboard, downhill skiing, hockey, bowling, and basketball. Our Olympic athletes truly gave it their all and pushed themselves to new heights. Huge congratulations to everyone who took home the Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals—you’re all champions! Who's ready for the next challenge? 🏅
