Dear Patients & Healthcare Community Members,

First, we would like to start with the opportunity to assure all of our patients, and those within the healthcare community, that our Providers and staff are dedicated to providing quality and professional patient care.

Jill Polet, APRN, who has been with this Practice for over a decade, has moved onto a new path and we wish her the very best with her new endeavors. We will be working diligently to ensure there is least amount of disruption for our patients, colleagues and associates during a short transition period.

Serina Wisnewski, APRN, will be continuing with the Practice and will be available throughout the week for in-office and telemedicine appointments. Serina also works closely with Dr. Koretsky within the hospital setting to provide care to patients whom they have been consulted to see.

Dr. Peter Koretsky continues his dedication within the field of gastroenterology and is very focused on patient care and providing the best services for his patients for years to come.

We thank you all of our patients and colleagues for your trust in our Providers and staff. We look forward to our continued relationships with each of you!

05/08/2020

Our office is re-opening, effective Monday, May 11, 2020!

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our office has some policy changes.

Please be sure to wear a mask to your appointment. You may have one guest accompany you, if needed and they will need to wear a mask as well.

All patients are asked to stay in their cars upon arrival for their appointments. When you arrive, please call reception at 321-254-7375 (option 2) to let us know that you are here. When your Provider is ready for you, we will call you to let you know to come inside.

For our patients' and staffs' safety, our office has implemented stringent cleaning policies and procedures. Additionally, we are closely monitoring the current guidelines and recommendations from all governing entities.

If you would like to change your appointment to a virtual telemed visit or reschedule your in-office appointment, please call our office and the staff will be happy to assist you.

We hope everyone has stayed and continues to stay, safe and healthy during these hard times.

Scheduling Telemedicine Appointments

When it is time for your appointment, please visit our website at www.KoretskyGI.com and click the link that says "Click Here for Telemedicine Appointment Check-In". At that point, you will be taken to our virtual tele-waiting room where you can check-in for your appointment. Please be sure to use your first and last name when you sign in.

What is Needed for Telemedicine Appointments

Our Practice will be using Doxy.me as the platform for our telemedicine services. This platform is browser based and can be easily accessed through most modern smartphones or with any computer/laptop with a we**am and microphone. The current browsers that are supported by this platform are Firefox and Chrome. If you do not have these items available to you, we may be able to set up a telephone teleservice, but please be aware that many insurances do not provide coverage as they do with tele-video services.

Telemedicine Insurance Carriers

Many insurance carriers have been moving to incorporate telemedicine benefits into their available plans. Some insurance plans may have specific parameters for telehealth services, including a required prior authorization or insurance referral. It is always recommended for patients to contact their health insurance carrier to discuss their specific plan's benefits for the most accurate details as well as to find out what your potential out of pocket costs may be.

The following list of health insurance carriers have known policies regarding telemedicine benefits:
- Aetna
- AARP Advantage Plans
- Blue Cross
- CarePlus
- Cigna
- Freedom Health
- Medicare
- Tricare
- United Healthcare
- We also offer self-pay rates that align with the Medicare Fee Schedule
