โ€œThe core of self-healing begins with awareness and recognition that there is inner discord that has perhaps sounded from the beginning of oneโ€™s existence. Simply understanding how the separation from self may have resulted can bring a sense of relief. Learning to recognize and validate oneโ€™s own needs is a huge step towards self healing. Accepting that it is your responsibility to care for yourself is a process that can require a lifetime of inner work. Finding ways to nurture yourself can be a delicious journey to a sense of wholeness that many have lost in early childhood. But you must give yourself permission. Validation can only be given and felt from within.โ€

The SHEEPDOG Program:Who We Are

The SHEEPDOG Program is a licensed and credentialed counseling program for both mental health and substance abuse. We offer a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Out Patient (IOP) Program created specifically for Veterans, Federal and State Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders. This group is unique and only open those who meet these prerequisites or those who get special approval by the program director.

This program is designed to provide innovative treatment approaches utilizing a unique take on peer reviewed and empirically proven interventions. The treatment is provided by professionals who are committed to understanding the character, sacrifices, and motivation of our Veterans, Law Enforcement Officers, and First Responders.

Our treatment approach is led and adapted by our program director, who is a retired Force Reconnaissance Marine and Marine Raider from Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC).

The Sheepdog program provides a comprehensive, tailor made program customized for each individual based off their presenting issues. We believe that there is never a generic predetermined program that should be blanketed across every client. Every case is reviewed by the program director, medical director, and the FCC Chief of Clinical Operations to provide the most direct and efficient approach to addressing each clients concerns. The program is fully capable of addressing mental health, behavioral health, TBI, stress management, physical trauma, emotional trauma, and addiction issues.
