Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is simply name what we're feeling. Not fix it. Not explain it away. Just acknowledge it: "I'm feeling anxious." "I'm feeling overwhelmed." Something we notice often is how people carrying invisible struggles are the first to celebrate others. They’ll cheer when a friend earns their degree, stays consistent at work, or makes it through a hard season. They see the strength in everyone else so easily.

But when it comes to their own journey, that same kindness doesn’t carry over. Instead, there’s comparison. The voice that says “you’re behind” or “you’re not enough.”

The truth is—getting through each day while carrying your own battles is already a victory. Your pace is not less just because it looks different.
