Navigating Medicaid
Navigating Medicaid for your child can often feel like a challenge. As a parent, myself, navigating Medicaid often left me feeling defeated. Owning our business, Brighter Days PPEC, we find ourselves educating parents on the Medicaid process. It shouldn't be this difficult to obtain proper medical coverage for medically complex children and it is truly unfortunate to witness so many families struggling and fighting the system.

Did you know that if your child has multiple diagnoses and you lead with the diagnosis least recognized by Medicaid it will affect coverage?
Did you know that if your child is diagnosed with certain medical conditions your child qualifies for full Medicaid beginning at age 3?
Did you know that you must apply for Med Waiver through APD Cares?
Don't take NO for an answer. Call, push and get the services for your child. YOU are your child's advocate and voice.
