We are so excited to welcome Dr. Grace Maguire, DPT to the REFINED team!

Graces mission is to help others fall in love with movement and discover the power of exercise as a way to enhance overall health and well-being.

As an ortho-pelvic provider who is APTA Pelvic Health Certified, Grace is very passionate about working with a wide variety of pelvic floor clients including those navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery, pelvic pain, incontinence, and performance-related concerns.

Grace exemplifies one of our company values: positivity breeds positivity. You'll feel it as soon as you walk into her treatment room. She takes pride in creating a supportive and empowering environment where each client feels heard and guided toward lasting progress.

When Tiffany first started coming to see us, she was experiencing knee pain limiting her ability to run. She was even having trouble just going up and down the stairs! She had tried some exercises, but nothing was fully getting rid of the pain.

She reached out to us because she had a CrossFit comp coming up in a month that she wanted to be able to participate in, but wasn't sure she'd be able to without furthering her injury.

She came in for an evaluation, trusted the REFINED process, and with consistency and dedication was able to not only compete, but have NO knee pain during or after the comp, was up and down stairs without a second thought, and was back to running unrestricted.

When Steph came to see us, she had been experiencing on and off back pain since college lacrosse!

While training for 2 CrossFit comps, she had a major flare up. We're talking pain so bad bending over to pick something up caused "back seizing"😮

After a thorough evaluation, we identified her deficits and came up with a plan to address them. Hint- they weren't all in her back😉

Steph trusted the REFINED process. Through hard work and commitment, alongside great coaching at she was able to resolve her back pain and keep kicking 🍑 in CrossFit!

Did you know studies have shown no statistical benefit in undergoing shoulder surgery versus a supervised exercise program in those diagnosed with shoulder impingement syndrome.

We often see our CrossFit and Powerlifting athletes recommended surgery when they have complaints of impingement or rotator cuff pain. But evidence supports those who engaged in a supervised exercise program did just as well long term as those who underwent an arthroscope.

The key to your outcome is finding a provider who understands the demand of your sport and knows how to safely load your shoulder to optimize your joint health.

We are so excited to welcome Dr. Gabi Perea, DPT, CF-L1 to the REFINED team.

As an orthopelvic clinician, Gabi strives to ensure her clients leave physical therapy a stronger, more resilient version of themselves. She is passionate about giving her clients the power to manage their pain and move without fear.

She truly exemplifies one of our company values - lead from the front. As a fitness forward PT, her passion for wellness through movement started in a CrossFit gym over a decade ago. As a CrossFit athlete herself, and coach since 2020, she understands what it means to work hard, train hard, and love being under a heavy barbell.

Originally from Wyoming, Gabi loves all things outdoors including skiing, running, hiking, and everything in-between.

When not in the clinic, you can find her spending time with her husband doing something outdoors ☀️, trying new coffee shops ☕️, and exploring all that MA has to offer.
