You show up.
You handle it.

But your mind won’t slow down.

If you’re a Black mama navigating anxiety — whether you’re pregnant, postpartum, raising toddlers, teens, or grown children — you don’t have to carry it alone.

HELD IN MOTHERHOOD is a virtual therapy group created specifically for Black mothers who are high-functioning but internally overwhelmed. This is a space to unpack the racing thoughts, the constant worry, the pressure to be strong, and the guilt that comes with needing support.

Soft Life Pregnancy Prep is a grounding, culturally affirming workshop designed to help pregnant individuals prepare for birth with calm, emotional safety, and thoughtful support planning.

This isn’t about a “perfect” birth plan. It’s about understanding your needs, supporting your nervous system, and creating a foundation that carries you into postpartum.

This season, my focus is grounded care. Support that is ethical, culturally responsive, and rooted in real life.

I’ll be sharing more about mental health, emotional regulation, life transitions, and support through parenthood — all through a lens that centers Black and BIPOC communities.

No pressure to “reinvent yourself.” Just space to be supported as you are.

My newest post, “You Don’t Have to Be Broken to Heal: Therapy Isn’t a Last Resort,” dives into the myths that keep so many of us from seeking support until it’s too late.

Therapy isn’t just for the breakdowns — it’s for the maintenance, the reflection, the “I’m fine” moments that really mean “I’m surviving.”

✨ We Are Live✨

BABE Family Wellness has officially relaunched our website and brand and I couldn’t be more proud. What started as Beyond A Birthing Experience, PLLC has blossomed into so much more: therapy, perinatal support, coaching, and the holistic care our community deserves.

None of this would have been possible without the vision and hard work poured in by my business manager, Ambra Pulliam () of Progressive Minds, LLC, who designed our site and held down all things administrative during this rebrand. She really brought this vision to life. 🙌🏾

This journey has been fast but full — and I’m so grateful for every step. Thank you to everyone who has supported, prayed, and cheered us on. And most importantly, thank God for not only giving me purpose but also showing me the bigger vision of what’s still to come. 💜🤎

We’re just getting started, and I can’t wait for you to explore our new home online: www.babefamilywellness.org 🌿
