CONGRATULATIONS! To Spirit Health Medical, our affiliate clinic in Memphis, for winning Shelby County Health Department's Light of Hope Award this week! Each year the Light of Hope Award recognizes an organization that has "demonstrated activities to increase awareness and understanding of HIV/AIDS in our community" and chose our clinic "in recognition of your efforts to bring awareness and to fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS in Shelby County."

In presenting the award, Dr. Cedric M. Robinson, Infectious Disease Program Manager said, “Spirit Health Medical is of the newest HIV providers in Memphis and is quickly becoming the provider of choice for people living with HIV and AIDS!” In accepting the award Dr. Marye Bernard said, “What an honor, I am honored, I am humbled, and I am grateful”! Dr. Marshe Turner added, ‘Thank you to our families, our amazing staff, our board members, partners in the community and most importantly to our patients. We do this for you, we have been set on a journey and our steps have been ordered and we are so blessed to be able to take this journey and take it all with you. Thank you for the recognition. We greatly appreciate it!"
