Yesterday we celebrated an incredible milestone — 50 years of service for our very own David Eason at Magnolia Supply! 💙
In honor of this achievement, here is a poem to recognize his incredible legacy:
“Fifty Years the Magnolia Way”
Down here where handshakes still mean gold
And stories worth tellin' get passed when they're old,
Fifty years ago a young man came
And helped build Magnolia's name.
Not for spotlight, flash, or fame -
But steady work and a trusted name.
He's walked these docks in Memphis heat,
Steel-toe boots on concrete feet.
From mops and mats to wax and shine,
He's served his customers one case at a time.
He knows which pad will cut just right,
Which finish makes a hallway bright.
When folks call worried, short on stock,
David's already headed to the dock.
Through paper shortages and freight gone wild,
Through price increases that weren't mild,
Through five full decades, come what may -
He showed up strong the Magnolia way.
Fifty years of loyalty shown,
In an industry that's rarely known
For glamour, glitter, or bright marquee -
But built on grit and integrity.
Around here, heritage runs deep -
Promises made are promises we keep.
And David's word has always been clean,
Just like the floors he's helped make gleam.
So here's to service tried and true,
To customers who count on you.
To hard-earned trust that time won't fade -
And a legacy that won't be swayed.
Fifty years - that's more than work,
That's Southern pride with a steady smirk.
