Acupuncture has advanced with time.

Today its practice transcends ancient rudimentary art to a scientific application that is refined, safe, and effective. It is called MRA® (Meridian Regulatory Acupuncture.) MRA® (Meridian Regulatory Acupuncture) is a federally registered service mark of modern scientific acupuncture developed in the early 1970s by Lupo T. Carlota, a medical doctor born in the Philippines. It is also known as MRA Therapy or simply MRA. MRA Therapy aims to restore the harmonious interaction of the meridians — invisible channels of bioenergy that regulate the processes of life, health, and disease. MRA harnesses the body’s own natural defenses to promote healing, regeneration, and a lasting relief from pain and disease. The body is in homeostasis (state of wellbeing) when the meridians interact with each other harmoniously. Conversely when the meridians are out of sync, pain and/or disease ensue. MRA is non-addictive. It works safely with no side effects. And meets the scientific criteria of measurability, replicability, predictability, and verifiability in restoring the healthful balance of the meridians. In over 45 years of clinical experience, doctors and patients of all ages prefer MRA over other variants of acupuncture. And here’s the reason why. In the MRA System of Therapy, a single, short, hair-thin, electrically-powered needle replaces the multiple needles used in classical acupuncture. MRA’s much less invasive approach is made possible through a micro-sensitive instrument that tells the doctor precisely where and how much treatment is needed. Thus ensuring an efficient treatment delivery at the exact points to be treated.

Ever wondered how your body's natural energy can be harnessed for healing?

Meridian Regulatory Acupuncture (MRA) is a powerful technique that targets the body's meridians—energy pathways—to restore balance and promote wellness. By stimulating specific points along these meridians, MRA helps regulate the flow of Qi (energy), providing relief from pain, reducing stress, and enhancing overall health. Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, this time-honored practice continues to be a valuable tool in modern healthcare.

Curious about acupuncture? Here’s a quick overview of its origins and benefits!

Acupuncture is an ancient practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that involves inserting thin needles into specific points on the body. These points are believed to be connected by pathways, or meridians, which circulate vital energy, known as "Qi" (pronounced "chee"). The goal of acupuncture is to balance this energy flow, promoting the body’s natural healing process.

Acupuncture has been shown to provide relief for various conditions, including chronic pain, migraines, stress, and anxiety. It is also used as a complementary therapy in modern medicine, offering a holistic approach to health and wellness.

🌟 Exploring Meridian Regulation Acupuncture (MRA) 🌟

As many individuals navigate chronic health issues and the complexities of conventional medicine, the need for holistic alternatives is more pressing than ever. Meridian Regulation Acupuncture (MRA) emerges as a promising solution, focusing not just on symptom relief but on restoring overall balance in the body’s energy system.

Why Consider MRA?

Holistic Healing: Addresses underlying energy imbalances for lasting wellness.
Personalized Approach: Tailored treatment plans based on individual energy patterns.

Advanced Techniques: Incorporates methods like electroacupuncture to enhance effectiveness.

MRA's integration into Western medicine signifies a shift towards more comprehensive patient care, bridging the gap between traditional practices and modern healthcare.

Introduction In today's fast-paced world, many individuals grapple with chronic health issues and the stress of managing their well-being. The reliance on conventional medicine often leads to a cycle of symptom management rather than holistic healing.

Acupuncture outperforms morphine in treating moderate to severe acute pain in the emergency department, controlling pain faster and more effectively. Now that's something to shout about.

This article provides an update on one of the oldest pain relief techniques (acupuncture) that could find a central place in the management of acute care settings. This should be considered especially in today's increasingly complicated and polymedicated patients to avoid adverse drug reactions.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) is changing the world forever, and even more so with telemedicine. Coronavirus has the topic of telemedicine at the forefront of prevention, but its benefits have existed at some level for several years now, but amid the current outbreak, it is seeing a surge in popularity and use. Unfortunately, as valuable as online health check-ups may be in a time when self-isolation is encouraged, some folks are getting left behind.
