Our Story

In addition to these services, MCIL offers the following programs: Peer Outreach Project (POP) - life skills support and coaching for persons with disabilities by persons with disabilities. Nursing Home Transition (NHT) - assists once-institutionalized individuals to transition from institutional settings back into their own homes and communities by providing life skills training, identifying safe, accessible, and affordable housing, transportation and community-based support services.

Grey Panthers - Senior support Group, meets monthly providing Seniors with disabilities to share experiences and issues and gives this group social opportunities, peers and reduces the isolation often leading to health issues and institutionalization.
