Mindful Mondays are here 💙
Each week, we’ll move from Fact #5 to Fact #1, sharing how intentional, preventive care is building a healthier Memphis.

Fact #5: LifeDoc patients are healthier, leading to 27% lower healthcare costs and saving $8.8 million across 9,500 Medicaid patients. Those savings come from fewer hospital and ER visits and better management of chronic conditions. Preventive care doesn’t just save dollars, it saves lives and strengthens families and communities. While this impact is powerful, policy changes in 2025 have made it harder to sustain the care our community relies on. Our goal is to raise $80,000 by year’s end to keep services strong and moving forward without interruption!

She’s been a pediatrician for 20+ years and has spent the last 1.5 years making magic happen here at Lifedoc. 💙

A proud Memphis graduate, she earned her BS in Biology at UofM, attended UT Memphis for medical school, and completed her Pediatrics residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School/CHKD.
