We’re Excited to have Coach David join our team. With a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Memphis and a NESTA Fitness Nutrition Coach certification, he brings both expertise and enthusiasm.

Why did you become a Personal Trainer?
My journey as a personal trainer began with my passion for working out as a former athlete. Watching my own progress during the offseason inspired me to help others achieve their goals.

What do you like about training your clients?
What I love most about training is making a real difference in people’s lives. Supporting clients as they strive for better health lets me celebrate their victories and be part of their journeys.

Why is fitness important to you?
Fitness opens the door to a vibrant life at any age. It builds strength, endurance, and the confidence needed to tackle both physical and mental challenges.

What is your favorite workout?
My go-to workout is a CrossFit-inspired routine that blends weight lifting with bursts of cardio for a fun and challenging session.

What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I’m the youngest of seven siblings.

Why did you become a trainer?
When I first stepped into the gym, I was overwhelmed and unsure where to begin. The machines looked intimidating, and I had no idea what proper form was. Everything shifted when I started working with a personal trainer. They gave me the confidence and guidance I needed, turning my gym experience into something empowering. That transformation inspired me to become a trainer myself, so I can help others discover the same confidence and sense of possibility.

What do you like most about training clients?
I love seeing clients push themselves, stay motivated, and give their best effort. Watching their progress, both physically and mentally, is incredibly rewarding, and their dedication inspires me just as much as I inspire them.

Why is fitness important to you?
Fitness is important to me because I never want my physical ability to limit how I live my life. I want to feel strong, capable, and able to fully experience everything life has to offer.

What is your favorite workout?
Anything with lunges!

What training do you have?
I am currently pursuing a degree in Health Science on a pre–Physical Therapy track and completing my NASM personal training certification.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I once trekked to a breathtaking lake perched 16,000 feet above sea level.

Why did you pick EMAC?

I picked EMAC for 3 main reasons. EMAC’s location is convenient for quick, consistent workouts; the child care makes it fun for my whole family; and the gym has all the equipment I need for a quality workout.

What results have you gotten?
I’ve lost 15 pounds at EMAC! I love doing the InBody Scan to track my progress. I’ve lost 6% body fat and gained 5% muscle mass since joining.

What is your favorite workout?
I love Coach Quay’s classes! His music is top-notch! I’m excited to try Yoga Sculpt soon, too.

Why is fitness important to you?
Fitness is super important to me as a mom. I want to keep up with my kids for decades to come! I also love having an outlet to challenge myself mentally and push my limits physically.
