I’M OKAY. I’M OKAY.
So my 50 mile bicycling project didn’t exactly get off to an auspicious start.  Some positives from the first few group rides using my trusty old mountain bike:
1) I ONLY fell 3 times. 
2) I wasn’t ALWAYS the last person back in. (there was this retired nurse. I edged her out a couple of times.)
BUT FEAR NOT…
I’m coming back with a “secret weapon”!

🍂 Adjust your diet as produce changes. Fill your plate with fall favorites like squash, sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts and apples. Their colors signify nutrient-density!

🍂Take advantage of the outdoors before winter. Go on more walks, hikes and runs to enjoy the foliage and fresh air. Getting outside also boosts Vitamin D levels.

🍂Transition your exercise routine as the weather cools. Move your workout indoors, try new classes at the gym or bundle up for outdoor activities.

🍂Combat seasonal affective disorders. Less sunlight can lead to low moods. Light therapy lamps, Vitamin D supplements and engaging hobbies help.

🍂Tend to your mental health. The added holiday stress can exacerbate anxiety and depression. Make time for self-care through journaling, yoga and connecting with loved ones.
