Hot Yoga Plus Memphis Hot Yoga Plus (HYP) is a community of studios offering both heated and non-heated classes, workshops Yoga’s history dates back to 200 B.C. So “Plus What”?

At Hot Yoga Plus, we believe in all yoga – every style, every temperature – for all people. In fact, we believe that yoga is so much more than just the asanas and postures taught in a yoga class. and the many layers and styles and benefits are as dynamic as its rich history. Hot Yoga Plus is where you can find all of this opportunity. Hot Yoga Plus is a community of studios, both heated and non-heated, that is about so much more than the classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings we offer. We recognize and embrace that yoga is designed to meet the needs of the individual, no matter the pace or the temperature of the room, and so we offer classes for every need, from Power Flow to Slow Flow to Restorative to Hot 26. ✨ TEACHER SPOTLIGHT: Meet Crystal Epps ✨

Crystal found yoga during one of the most stressful seasons of her life at the height of COVID—and it quickly became a true lifesaver. The practice grounded her, and the community carried her through.

A proud 2024 graduate of Hot Yoga Plus Teacher Training, Crystal may call herself a “newbie,” but she’s been teaching for 8 months and already making a meaningful impact. You can unwind with her Sundays at 5:30pm in her Restore & Renew class (restorative yoga) or catch her subbing Power Flow classes.

Her favorite pose? Handstands—currently a work in progress 💫. Until then, she loves Triangle Pose for the soothing release it brings to her lower back.

Outside the studio, Crystal is diving into podcasting and loves experimenting in the kitchen with cooking and juicing. Fresh watermelon juice is her favorite drink (counting down to watermelon season 🍉).

Fun fact: While she may seem calm and centered, she has some serious extroverted energy when she’s around family and friends. 💫

Teacher Spotlight ✨ Meet Creedon Morton ✨

Creedon completed Hot Yoga Plus 200-hour Teacher Training in October 2025! You can find her leading Power Flow Basics on Saturdays at 12:30pm — and we’re so lucky to have her on the schedule.

She started practicing yoga because she needed something to focus on to get healthy… and it made her feel alive. She was hooked right away. When teacher training came around, she couldn’t ignore the nudge that it might be exactly where she was meant to be. Inspired by the positive influence of her HYP teachers, she stepped in — and now she’s paying it forward.

Power Flow Basics was always her favorite class because she had time to hold poses, learn them, and truly understand the “why” behind the movement — which is exactly how she teaches.

Her favorite poses? Triangle and Skandasana.

Outside the studio, she’s a full-time nurse/case manager, a BIG Notre Dame football fan, and she loves air fryer salmon + asparagus with angel hair pasta. 👏

Beginning February 17, join Laura Dew for a special 4-week Ashtanga Vinyasa series— the traditional practice that inspires our power vinyasa classes.

🔥 Heated | All levels welcome

Expect a steady, breath-driven flow designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus while keeping you grounded and connected. You’ll move through a mix of postures inspired by the Primary and Second Series—standing and seated, forward folds, twists, arm balances, backbends, and inversions. All levels are welcome, with modifications and options offered and encouraged. 💫

If you haven’t practiced with Laura Dew yet, you are in for a treat!

Laura found yoga after college to relieve stress. She has been teaching since 2019 and joined our HYP team in 2025. Laura teaches Power Flow and Ashtanga; her dance background inspires her love for fluid, breath-led movement.

Favorite pose: any kind of side stretch, especially Banana Pose 🍌
Hobbies: enjoying the sunshine, being outdoors, reading, listening to podcasts, and working on house projects ☀️
More favorites: coffee and dark chocolate ☕️ 🍫

Weekend 2 complete 200-hour teacher training ✨
From anatomy with Dr. Sara Michael, learning to assist with intention, building our power flow sequence and practice teaching (always, 😉 iykyk)—this group showed up open and engaged.

Moving with intention, curiosity, and courage—we see so much growth already and we are so proud.
