Hi👋 I’m a pediatric dietitian & mom passionate about lowering mealtime stress for families, especially those who have been impacted by foster care & adoption!
Most people don’t realize how much stress they are putting on their kids at the table with pressure to eat certain foods.👀
They also don’t realize that stress can trigger the fight or flight response, which can cause fear or resistance to trying new foods… and of course, chronic stress leads to negative health outcomes.❌
My goal is to help parents use food as a tool to connect with their kids which will improve the overall health of their family. 💞
One of the easiest ways to do this is to serve family-style meals.🍱
This works because it gives kids autonomy and felt-safety which in turn helps them make better health choices.🛟
