Over time, numbing increases emotional pressure and exhaustion and raises the risk of relapse. Instead of helping you heal, it keeps you stuck in survival mode.

However, skipping doses or delaying treatment can quickly increase cravings, emotional instability, and the risk of relapse. Your body depends on that steady support.

If you don't recognize a trigger early on, it becomes harder to stay grounded. Your body reacts first with tension, a faster heartbeat, irritability, or a sudden urge to escape. Ignoring these signals makes high-risk moments even more difficult to manage.
