Many people living with fibromyalgia experience fatigue, brain fog, and recovery challenges, which is why conversations around cellular energy and mitochondrial health are becoming more common.

One molecule that often comes up in these discussions is NAD+, which plays an important role in how cells produce energy and regulate metabolic processes.

While everyone’s health journey is different, many people are curious to learn more about the science behind NAD+ and how it supports normal cellular function.

if you have questions just message me or Comment “NAD+”.

Living with fibromyalgia teaches you to listen to your body in a whole new way.

That’s why many people in the chronic illness community are becoming curious about topics like peptides and how they work in the body.

For many of us, the first step is simply learning and asking questions.

If you’re on a fibromyalgia journey too, I see you. 💜

Fun Fact Friday 🧠➡️🍽️

Your gut and brain are constantly communicating!

GLP-1 is part of that communication system. It helps send signals related to:
• appetite
• digestion
• fullness after eating

Researchers often call this the “gut-brain connection.”

Modern GLP-1 medications were developed to work with this natural signaling pathway.

I’ve been living with fibromyalgia since I was 27, and like many people with chronic conditions, I’m always trying to learn more about how the body works.

Recently I’ve been reading about peptides and how they function as signaling molecules in the body. I have started with Tirzepetide and about to start Sermorelin peptide for myself, and I find the science behind them really interesting and worth learning about.

For me, education and asking questions is always the first step.

If you live with fibromyalgia too, I’d love to hear your story and have you tried any peptides. 💜

Fibromyalgia warriors… have you been hearing people talk about peptides lately?

Peptides are naturally occurring chains of amino acids that act like messengers telling the body how to respond and repair. Because fibromyalgia impacts things like pain processing, fatigue, and recovery, some people are starting to explore the science behind peptides.

The key is making sure any decision about treatment is guided by a licensed provider who knows your health history.

Being told your labs are “normal” can feel reassuring—until you’re still exhausted, gaining weight, foggy, or just not yourself.

After 20+ years in healthcare, I’ve learned this:

Symptoms are often the first warning signs—long before disease shows up on paper.

Men and women experience this differently, but the message is the same:
👉 Your body is asking for attention.

You’re not dramatic.
You’re not lazy.
And you’re not imagining it.

Learning how to ask better questions and look at the bigger picture can change everything.

💬 Have you ever been told everything looks fine—but you didn’t feel fine?

New year. New season. New alignment.

For over 20 years, I worked in med/surg, dialysis, and nephrology—caring for people when their health had already declined. I saw firsthand what happens when symptoms are ignored, when energy slowly fades, and when we’re told “everything looks normal” even though we don’t feel normal at all.

At the same time, I was living my own journey:
• Being dismissed during perimenopause
• Managing fibromyalgia
• Gaining weight despite doing “all the right things”
• Feeling exhausted and frustrated

That combination—clinical experience + lived experience—changed how I look at health forever.

✨ In this new year, I’m excited to share that I’ve partnered with a company that aligns with how I truly believe health should be approached:
✔ Root-cause focused
✔ Education-driven
✔ Supportive, not extreme
✔ Built for real life—for men and women

This space will be about:
• Understanding your body
• Advocating for yourself
• Hormones, energy, and metabolism
• Simple changes that make a big impact
• Preventing long-term decline before it starts

If you’re walking into 2026 thinking,
👉 “I know something feels off”
👉 “I’m tired of guessing”
👉 “I just want to feel like myself again”

You’re in the right place.

Here’s to a year of clarity, energy, and feeling heard. 💫
Happy New Year 🥂
