Recognized by the World Health Organization and celebrated in nearly 50 countries, ICD combines fun, creativity, education, and free condom distribution. 🌍

Families Matter Inc. presents the AFIRM Job and Community Resource Fair, connecting Shelby County fathers to employment and community resources in one convenient location.

The event will take place Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jubilee COGIC, located 4555 Stage Road, Memphis, TN 38128.

This opportunity is open to fathers ages 18 and older who have a Tennessee child support order and are seeking employment. Participants can enroll in the AFIRM program and take the next step toward economic stability and family success.

To enroll, attendees should bring a Tennessee driver’s license or state ID, their Tennessee child support case number and a current paystub if employed or unemployment documentation if unemployed.

Available resources include employment and education opportunities and additional community supports.

Phill Wilson, a Black gay activist and founder of the Black AIDS Institute, has been one of the most influential voices in the fight against HIV/AIDS in the United States. Diagnosed with HIV himself in the early 1980s, Wilson dedicated his life to ensuring that Black communities were centered—not overlooked—in HIV prevention, policy, and care. 🧬❤️
Founded in 1999, the Black AIDS Institute became the first national organization focused exclusively on HIV/AIDS and Black communities, helping shift research, funding, and public awareness toward equity and justice. 🌍✨
His work reminds us that representation, advocacy, and access save lives.
