ACTIVATE YOUR MYCHART ACCOUNT!
Signing up for MyChart, our online patient portal can help you participate in your health care journey and allow you to communicate with your providers.
Several different methods of MyChart signup might be used by departments across the organization:
1. Clinic staff can sign you up directly while you are at the front desk or in the exam room.
2. You can receive a MyChart activation code on your After Visit Summary.
3. You can receive a text or email with an activation code when you come in for a visit.
4. You are able to use self-signup online to create a MyChart account by matching your information against what is on file in your medical record.

Epic gives you the ability to personalize your communication preferences through “Hello World.” To opt in to text messages through Epic, text START to 89763
Through this feature, patients can:
• Receive automated appointment reminders
• Access the E-Check material
• Confirm, reschedule or cancel appointments

If you have a MyChart account with another organization, you will need to activate a MyChart account with Simpson General Hospital, but you can link your accounts.
Here are the steps to do so:
8Search link from menu or from health feed.
*Find the "Link with Other Organizations" notification and click "Explore"
*Organizations you have visited recently appear, or if you want to find a different one, search for it here.
*After you select and answer a verification question, the accounts are linked from your health feed and from the shortcuts.
*All of your MyChart information can appear together from any linked account.
