Sun, soil, and a whole lot of green (and foraged) magic 🌿

Spent the most beautiful spring day planting, learning, and connecting at our herb workshop with Jenn Ponder ().

From seedlings in colanders to culinary inspiration—there’s something powerful about getting your hands in the dirt and remembering how simple it can be to grow your own wellness.

Fresh air, good company, and herbs that will soon be flavoring our kitchens and supporting our health… this is what spring is all about.

Already dreaming about the next one đź’š

Menopause isn’t the end of pleasure—it’s an invitation to rediscover it. ✨

What you eat can directly support your energy, circulation, hormone balance, and yes… your capacity for pleasure.

Think:
🍓 Juicy berries for blood flow and antioxidant support
🥑 Healthy fats to nourish hormones and enhance sensation
🌶️ Spices to awaken circulation and warmth
🌿 Leafy greens for nitric oxide and vitality
🦪 Zinc-rich foods to support libido, hormone balance, and cellular vitality

Pleasure isn’t just emotional—it’s cellular, physiological, and deeply nourished.

This is your time to feel more… not less.

If this resonates with you… join us this Sunday 3/22 for an afternoon workshop Awaken to Your Pleasure led by pelvic floor therapist and s*x therapist and featuring fun conversation, movement, creating your own pleasure board and of course… restorative foods and drinks.

Mocktails. Yes please , but make them supportive ✨

Not just “no alcohol” — intentionally adding in:• minerals for nervous system calm• botanicals that cue safety + relaxation• blood-sugar steadying ingredients• gentle hydration that supports deeper sleep

A small, steady way to love ourselves:choosing rituals that care for our hormones, our nervous systems, and the woman we’re becoming.

Because what we add in matters just as much as what we take out.

Grateful for the quiet magic of gathering—women slowing down, pausing, and tending to what truly sustains us through winter. This space continues, and you’re warmly welcome at the next workshop.

In earlier years, women can get by with skipping meals and pushing through. Your body now moves between states where you are called to restore and rebuild (the snake) and where you are called to fuel, move and express (the horse).

Some days you need snake nourishment - warm foods, minerals, rest - and other days you need horse nourishment - steady protein, carbs, hydration, recovery.

Women in midlife and beyond often feel this need more clearly. The key is leaning into your wisdom to know when to restore and when to fuel. We don’t want to move on empty and want nourishment before pushing.

Let 2026 be learning about your body’s new language. Your energy returns when you listen rather than try to control. ✨

Ultra-processed foods may be convenient, but they come with serious risks. Research highlights their link to increased anxiety, depression, and chronic diseases. Women aged 50-64 are particularly vulnerable due to past exposure and emotional eating. Take control: understand your triggers, make informed choices, and prioritize your health!

Love this trend of slowing down instead of speeding up in November. It is truly a great month to ease off busyness, reset useful habits and ground yourself.

If you are fed up with what this time of year has meant for you in the past, try focusing on more being… less hustle.

To restore your sense of resilience and calm, consider leaning in to mineral-rich foods and soups. Minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium and sodium are essential for energy balance, recovery and calming the nervous system.

My favorites are dark leafy greens, pumpkin seeds, sweet potatoes, chickpeas, lentils, almonds, sardines and mineral broths.

You can sip on stinging nettle or oat straw tea for strengthening or lemon balm or chamomile for softening.

Let’s ease rather than rush into the last months of the year ❤️🍂
