In earlier years, women can get by with skipping meals and pushing through. Your body now moves between states where you are called to restore and rebuild (the snake) and where you are called to fuel, move and express (the horse).
Some days you need snake nourishment - warm foods, minerals, rest - and other days you need horse nourishment - steady protein, carbs, hydration, recovery.
Women in midlife and beyond often feel this need more clearly. The key is leaning into your wisdom to know when to restore and when to fuel. We don’t want to move on empty and want nourishment before pushing.
Let 2026 be learning about your body’s new language. Your energy returns when you listen rather than try to control. ✨

Ultra-processed foods may be convenient, but they come with serious risks. Research highlights their link to increased anxiety, depression, and chronic diseases. Women aged 50-64 are particularly vulnerable due to past exposure and emotional eating. Take control: understand your triggers, make informed choices, and prioritize your health!

Love this trend of slowing down instead of speeding up in November. It is truly a great month to ease off busyness, reset useful habits and ground yourself.
If you are fed up with what this time of year has meant for you in the past, try focusing on more being… less hustle.
To restore your sense of resilience and calm, consider leaning in to mineral-rich foods and soups. Minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium and sodium are essential for energy balance, recovery and calming the nervous system.
My favorites are dark leafy greens, pumpkin seeds, sweet potatoes, chickpeas, lentils, almonds, sardines and mineral broths.
You can sip on stinging nettle or oat straw tea for strengthening or lemon balm or chamomile for softening.
Let’s ease rather than rush into the last months of the year ❤️🍂

Free Live Workshop. Anxiety. Burnout. Exhaustion that coffee and working out can’t fix. If you’re over it — and wondering how food might be part of the solution — this workshop is for you.
Fed Up is designed to reconnect you with the healing power of nutrition. We’ll explore how burnout and anxiety are deeply linked to what (and how) we eat — and teach you how to use food as a daily tool for nervous system support, hormone balance, and steady energy.
What You’ll Learn:
How stress and burnout disrupt digestion, hormones, and blood sugar — and what to do about it
The best foods to calm anxiety and support your nervous system
How to build burnout-recovery meals (without overthinking it)
The top 3 nutrients we are missing when burnt out— and how to get more
Food rituals that restore energy and regulate emotions
For those who are:
Tired of feeling wired, anxious, or depleted
Ready to shift from surviving to feeling nourished
Looking for practical nutrition help that doesn’t feel overwhelming
This easy meal prep bake will give you all the fall flavors with high protein and high fiber to keep energized and satiated.
This recipe is perfect for those who love oatmeal but don’t love the crash and burn that can come from a conventional oat breakfast. With added protein from eggs, Greek yogurt and h**p seeds along with fiber from the oats, chia and pumpkin, this cozy bake will warm you up and keep you humming.
Healing doesn’t have to be complicated. Together, we can simplify your nutrition, support your hormones + gut and get you feeling strong, vibrant and grounded again.

Like so many women, I was living the “new normal” as a full-time, commuting marketing executive with two small children – frenzied, stressed out and exhausted. I often gobbled down whatever I could find at work, ate from the kids’ plates, called walking 3 blocks from the train “exercise” and rarely got more than 6 hours of sleep. Then I began experiencing major panic attacks so frequent and intense that I found myself avoiding work and social activities and started having serious digestive issues - both of which forced me practically housebound. After an episode that left me in the ER severely dehydrated and exhausted and multiple visits to physicians with no discernible diagnosis, I vowed that I would prioritize my health. I just had to get my life back and I just knew there had to be a better way!
My first major “ah-ha” moment came from learning how my gut dysfunction and my stress and anxiety were completely connected.. really one system behaving badly! When the brain isn't functioning well, the digestive system begins to falter and in order to heal myself I would have to heal both! Another O-M-G moment came when I discovered how multiple food sensitivities and a leaky gut were ruining my ability to absorb nutrients. It wasn’t just about eating better and getting more sleep, I had to really rebuild my health from the ground up. And on this journey, a new world of health and conscious living opened up for me…and for my family.
My goal today is to help other women face their own health demons that are a result of living in a fast-paced world while not making self-care a priority. With small, achievable changes made over time, you can experience more gratitude and self-love that let you support those you love and strive for your own dreams. It’s a darn tall order – and sometimes there will be bumps in the road - but it's also delicious and incredibly rewarding. And I’m on the journey with you.
I'm here to guide you on your journey to truly nourish your body, mind and soul and reclaim the life you deserve.
