Come swing by the First Aid Squad building on Halloween from 5-7pm and get some candy and check out the ambulance! “One piece of candy for each year of age” was the rule last year, until a 75 year old grandmother tried to cash in… Regardless, we’ll have a lot of candy!

Last night, we got up close and personal with one of Atlantic Ambulances’ Air Medical crews and copter, reviewing Landing Zone procedures with many of our Mutual Aid partners. While we are lucky to be close to Morristown Memorial Hospital there are certain situations where air transport is the best option for patient care.

This morning, we joined Mendham Fire Department in a remembrance ceremony in honor of those lives lost, including many first responders, during the events of 9/11.

Anyone can do CPR, even if hands-only. Learn how to properly "push hard, push fast"...

Hands-Only CPR Can Save Lives. Most people who experience cardiac arrest at home, work or in a public location die because they don't receive immediate CPR from someone on the scene.

If you see a teen or adult suddenly collapse, call 911 and push hard and fast in the center of the chest to the beat of any tune that is 100 to 120 beats per minute, such as the classic disco song "Stayin' Alive".
