Sweetwater Inn and Spa is recruiting for full-time positions of Housekeeper in Mendocino, California. This is a direct hire and will require a resume, application, interview, and skills test. This is not an entry level position. Previous Inn or Hotel experience is required, but may train the right person. Applicants must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and flexible enough to cover extra shifts if necessary. The complexity of multi-tasking is essential for daily tasks and coordination with multiple staff members. A dependable vehicle and a smart phone are required. A clean and professional appearance with a smile and a fun upbeat attitude is a must, especially when dealing with the public. Knowledge of the Mendocino area is a plus. Must be able to lift 30 lbs without difficulty or assistance. Must be able to climb ladders, steps, stairs, and be in good physical shape due to different locations that must be accessed. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, proactive, and accept direction from a Lead Housekeeper with a “good to go” attitude. Willing to train or assist future incoming candidates to be part of the team with a positive attitude. Starting wage depending on experience.
