Meet Susan Marcec, a welcoming presence at the front desk of OSF Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Since 2021, Susan has offered more than directions or assistance. She brings comfort and calm to those arriving during stressful moments.

“I want to give something back to the healthcare I’ve received,” she shares. “Even a small act can make someone’s day a little nicer.”

A retired nurse, Susan enjoys reading, walking and staying active in her community. Her kindness and compassion remind us how volunteers help our ministry thrive. 🌟
