This week is National Infant Immunization Week! This week is used to highlight the importance of protecting children two years and younger from vaccine-preventable diseases. CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommend that children stay on track with their well-child appointments and routine vaccinations. On-time vaccination is critical to provide protection against potentially life-threatening diseases.

March is Multiple Sclerosis Month Awareness Month!

What is Multiple Sclerosis?
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). In MS, the immune system mistakenly attacks the protective covering of nerve fibers (myelin), causing inflammation and disrupting communication between the brain and the rest of the body.

Symptoms vary widely but can include fatigue, numbness or tingling, muscle weakness, vision problems, balance difficulties, and cognitive changes. MS often appears between ages 20–40 and is more common in women.
