Donations can be dropped off in the lobby of The Neighbors Central (yellow) building now until Nov. 14th! 🥫

The Dunn County Wellbeing Ambassadors are hosting a food drive to support Stepping Stones of Dunn County! Donations will be accepted through November 14, 2025.

Drop-off locations are available at several Dunn County departments during regular business hours.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

🍂 Fall photo dump! 🍁 We have had a busy season... Check out all the fun around campus! We have had visitors from UW-Stout Police Department, the Dunn County Playgroup, and different agencies around our community.

An extra THANK YOU to all the volunteers from WESTconsin Credit Union, United Way St. Croix & Red Cedar Valleys, Dairy State Bank, and our facilities team for all their help with fall clean up and landscaping during United Way Day of Caring and Community Care Day! We are so thankful for their hard work in helping to get our gardens looking great!

Friday, October 10th - 1:30 - 3:30 pm: Join us for Oktoberfest music with Steve Hart! Volunteers will help bring residents to our Central building for music, snacks, and refreshments. After the music is done, volunteers will help residents return to their households.

Friday, October 17th - 1:30 - 3:30 pm: Join us for happy hour music with Tom Burt! Volunteers will help bring residents to our Central building for music, snacks, and refreshments. After the music is done, volunteers will help residents return to their households.

Friday, October 31st - 4:30 - 7:00 pm: Volunteers will be assigned to a household to help residents hand out candy during trick or treating. If you would like to help out in a certain household, please let us know!

Fun fact: There are over 7,500 varieties of apples grown worldwide! 🍎 We got to sample some delicious donuts and cider at Ferguson's Orchards - Eau Claire this week while checking out their orchard. We learned that the Fergusons grow apples on approximately 400,000 apple trees in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Wow!

We had the great pleasure of saying congratulations and thank you to one of our outstanding staff members this week! Suzi retired from The Neighbors on Wednesday after 27 years of service! 👏

Over Suzi’s tenure at The Neighbors and The Dunn County Health Care Center she has served our residents in many roles including working in the kitchen, housekeeping, CNA, restorative CNA and household coordinator!

Suzi will be greatly missed by her residents and her coworkers! We wish her all the best in the next chapter of life! 🎉

We've had quite a busy few weeks 🙌😱 To recap:
🇺🇸 One of our veterans received a Quilt of Valor from our Dunn County Veterans Service Office. Congratulations Ed & thank you for your service in the Coast Guard!
🎣 Our East and Central buildings were gone fishin' at Jeremiah's Bullfrog Fish Farm- Eat My Fish!
🎷 Sue Orfield and Randy Sinz put on an incredible afternoon of music in our West building. We appreciate them sharing their talents with us!
