As we wrap up a fun and festive Spirit Week at our community for the Holidays, our hearts are full! We celebrated all week long with holiday joy, ugly Christmas sweaters, favorite holiday movie character day, Santa & workshop day, and cozy pajama day.

The fun continued as we created our own mini donuts with tons of amazing toppings-such a sweet treat! Our incredible Culinary Director also served up made-to-order pasta for staff, and oh boy… it was yummy!

To close out the week, we celebrated with gifts, comfy pajamas, and breakfast for lunch. A perfect ending to a joyful, festive week spent together.

When what to our wondering eyes should appear... The GRINCH?! We were shocked as the grouchy green man slinked his way RIGHT onto our bus! But then Victor, with HIS heart of gold, kindly greeted and welcomed Mr. Grinch...and then, the Grinch's "heart full of unwashed socks" DID grow a little bit larger! In amazement, we witnessed the undeniable flicker of his smile... because love is contagious.

As our scenic drive through the zoo light display continued, we were again surprised by our wandering eyes! It was Santa! "Ho ho ho"! He explained the need to climb onboard our bus to find out exactly just how naughty Kathy had been this year. After our feedback, Santa concluded that she was just a "little bit naughty", and that it wasn't too late for her to get onto his 'GOOD GIRL' list! What an awesome adventure!
