Ladies celebrated Easter with memories about Easter bonnets, Easter shopping, Easter outfits, Easter dinner and church memories. You learned why we decorated Easter eggs and decorate with Easter bunnies. We enjoyed donut holes and cocoa or tea.

The elegance of fine china tea cup sets, the comforting aroma of tea, and the joy of shared stories over sweet treats.

Crafting

Today’s craft was provided and sponsored by St. Mary of the Assumption School We made flowers on paper for display on our doors and community, and then when that was done moved on to Bunnies out of toilet paper rolls. It created a lot of fun and laughter.

The 7th grade students of teacher Grace brought a great energy and the residents just smiled and smiled. They really enjoyed and and appreciated all students and teachers from St. Mary of the Assumption School sharing them with us.

Crafts like this are about more than just fun and socializing—they also help support occupational hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, promoting strength, dexterity, and independence….. one of the eight Elegance’ dimensions of engagement.

March 2026 Making Memories was our Annual TALENT Show and we did not disappoint. Our Show truly lived up to its name this year… we made memories! And wow — what an incredible lineup!!!
1. Our amazing emcee, Chaplain Michael from Cypress Hospice, kicked things off and even treated us to a powerful 30-minute singing performance!
2. Shauna McGhee from Miracle City Hospice captivated everyone with two beautiful a ca****la songs.
3. We even had a surprise appearance by “Phyllis Diller” — aka our very own Jeanne Onuska from Sales & Marketing — and she brought the laughs!
4. The directors stole the show with the HUMAN SLOT MACHINE — line up lime-lemon-kiwi and you were a winner (or at least got a fun consolation prize)! Vegas, watch out!
5. Engagement’s Mariah had us all singing along to classics like Sweet Caroline and You Are My Sunshine — smiles all around!

We welcomed he support of Cypress Hospice Chaplain Michael, Miracle City Hospice’s Shaunda, and Phyllis Diller! Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this event so meaningful. These are the moments that bring us together and create lasting memories!
