Today we were visited by Jacqueline. Jacqueline (6 year old) beautiful girl with a heart just as big as her smile (see the photos, especially when eying new ball!). She’s incredibly sweet, playful (loves to fetch), and so eager to love—she truly wants to make her people happy. She loves kids. Her owners were seniors that had to move, and they are hoping you will give her as much love as they did. If you’re looking for a joyful, affectionate companion with a wonderful personality, Jacqueline is ready to be your new best friend.

PLEASE help get her adopted by liking/commenting/forwarding to advertise her availability and help get them adopted. Each month Lake Humane will bring a fully vetted, neutered, and fostered dog to visit our community. Friday’s Cocktail Party tried to turn up the heat—indoors, at least—with a cheerful “Summer in January” theme.

Today’s live music featured the always-popular Tom Provenzale and his daughter, Veronica. Tom’s contagious energy filled the room as he moved from guest to guest, engaging everyone along the way. We happily joined in—tapping our toes, clapping our hands, and singing along. For a full hour, Tom kept the energy high and the smiles wide. No one ever leaves unhappy.

Today our residents worked together on a special “We All Fit Together” puzzle! 🧩 Each person added a piece about themselves, and once completed, the puzzle was proudly displayed on the wall for everyone to enjoy in the weeks ahead.

Activities like this are about more than just fun and social time—they also support hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, helping residents maintain strength, dexterity, and independence. We love seeing our community come together in such meaningful ways!
