As Thanksgiving nears, we’re feeling extra grateful for one very special group: our 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬.

Birthright Lake, Inc. is blessed with 50 dedicated volunteers who come in regularly—together giving over 1,150 hours this past quarter. In addition to our Birthright team, we’re often joined by groups from local schools, churches and businesses who jump in wherever help is needed.

With only three part-time employees, we truly could not do what we do without the many hands and hearts that support our mission. We are deeply thankful for each and every one of them.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we have so much to be grateful for—starting with our 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬.

Last week, a dad of twins who just turned three (and a three-month-old!) arrived with an entire car full of donations. For his twins’ birthday, he asked guests to bring items for Birthright instead of gifts.

His generosity—and the generosity of everyone who donated—left us truly overwhelmed with gratitude. Moments like this are a beautiful reminder of the kindness that surrounds us.

We are so grateful to the amazing volunteers who joined us during 𝐒𝐭. 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 - a special day when the parish comes together to go out into the community and serve others through hands-on projects for organizations and individuals in need.

Your hard work made such a difference! From tackling our fall deep cleaning, washing windows, and wiping down shelving, to making our storefront and storage area sparkle and helping clear leaves outside — you truly brightened our space and our spirits.

Your generosity and community-minded hearts support Birthright’s mission in a beautiful way.Thank you for serving with us!
