Sleep isn’t just rest—it’s a core part of migraine management. 💤

Irregular sleep (too little or too much) can be a trigger for headache and migraine. That’s because your brain thrives on consistency—especially when it comes to regulating pain pathways, stress hormones, and overall nervous system balance.

Aim for quality, not just quantity! Since it's National Sleep Awareness Month, now is a great time to reset your routine:
• Keep a consistent sleep and wake time (even on weekends)
• Limit screen time before bed, or consider wearing blue light blocking glasses
• Create a wind-down ritual to signal your brain it’s time to rest
• Keep the bedroom cool, dark, and quiet.

Small shifts in sleep habits can lead to meaningful improvements in migraine frequency and severity.

✨ Headache on the Hill 2026 — What It Was & Why It Matters ✨

This year’s Headache on the Hill, organized by the Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy, brought together almost 300 advocates made up of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers to Washington, D.C. for a powerful advocacy effort aimed at improving the lives of the 40 + million Americans living with migraine and other disabling headache disorders.

Advocates met with Members of Congress with a focus on three critical policy priorities:
📌 The HEADACHE Act — Led in the House by Reps. Lori Trahan and Brian Fitzpatrick, this bill would establish the first-ever national strategy to coordinate headache research, expand access to quality care, and address longstanding gaps in recognition and stigma.
📌 The Safe Step Act — A patient protection bill to end harmful “fail first” insurance practices that delay or deny access to the treatments health care providers prescribe.
📌 The CONNECT for Health Act — Legislation to make permanent essential telehealth flexibilities, helping patients access specialty headache care despite provider shortages and geographic barriers.

We may be a little late to the holiday party… but we definitely made it count. 🎉

The Mind+ team traded clinic rooms for competition mode at X-Golf and stepped into the spotlight in a Game Show Battle Room. ⛳🎤From impressive swings (and a few very creative ones 😅) to buzzer-beating moments that had us laughing nonstop, it was the perfect way to celebrate our team, our hard work this year, and the community we’ve built together.

Grateful for a crew that works hard, supports each other, and knows how to have a little fun along the way. 💙
