šŸ„ Kiwi is small but mighty.

It contains naturally occurring melatonin and serotonin, which may support sleep and mood.
It’s also a great source of fiber, plus actinidin—a protein-digestive enzyme both of which can help enhance digestion and reduce that heavy, post-meal feeling.
✨ Try kiwi as a nighttime or post-dinner snack to support digestion, recovery, and better sleep

šŸ“£ Good News!
I now accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) payments! šŸ™Œ

If you’ve been putting off nutrition support because of cost, this might be the perfect opportunity to use your pre-tax health dollars toward your wellness goals. Whether you’re working on gut health, increased energy, or building sustainable nutrition habits — your HSA/FSA can help cover it!

šŸ’” Not sure if your account qualifies? Check with your provider — many cover nutrition counseling with a letter of medical necessity.

Let’s make your health a priority — and make the most of your benefits!

🚨Update: New Name, New Logo, Same Mission🚨

Over 4 years ago, I launched Road to Wellness with a bold vision: a brick-and-mortar space where functional practitioners worked together to offer truly individualized, honest, and client-centered care. A place where people who felt let down by the system could finally feel seen, heard, and supported. No gimmicks. No fear tactics. Just real wellness for real people.

As my business grew, so did my clarity. I realized managing a full team and physical space would pull me away from what I love most—working directly with individuals to improve their health through nutrition and lifestyle.

So, I’ve decided to fully lean into what lights me up: being a highly accessible, (mostly) virtual provider with a wider reach and deeper impact.

✨With that, Road to Wellness is officially evolving into:
Danielle Muhr, R.D. — Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching

This new name reflects the heart of what I do: empowering clients with expert care that challenges the status quo and prioritizes YOU—not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

To every client, supporter, and friend who’s been on this journey with me—thank you. Your trust is what makes this work so meaningful. Here’s to a new chapter, and many more lives changed. šŸ’›

šŸŽ‰ IT’S OFFICIAL! šŸŽ‰

As of TODAY, I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist! šŸ’„šŸ‘©ā€āš•ļøšŸ„—

I graduated with my Master’s in Nutrition & Dietetics on May 17th, but instead of a sigh of relief, it felt like the pressure just began.
Because truthfully? Without passing the national board exam (think: the dietitian version of the NCLEX), that degree wouldn’t mean a thing.
No pressure, right? šŸ˜…

But I DID IT. I passed. And I can finally say those three letters: RDN.

🌟 This is more than a new credential — it’s the start of an exciting new chapter. You’ll soon see a full rebrand to better reflect the services I’ll be offering moving forward — all centered around helping YOU feel your best through personalized, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle support.

šŸ’” I’m also working on getting credentialed with insurance, which means many of you will soon be able to work with me at little to no out-of-pocket cost!

To everyone who’s cheered me on, offered support, or believed in me throughout this journey: thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Big things are coming, and I can’t wait to bring you along. šŸ’«

Whatever your goal is—better energy ⚔, improved digestion 🄦, consistent movement šŸƒā€ā™€ļøā€”start small.
Then go smaller.
Shrink the task until it feels almost too easy.

āœ… One glass of water before coffee ā˜•
āœ… A 5-minute walk šŸš¶ā€ā™‚ļø
āœ… One home-cooked meal šŸ½ļø

Tiny steps build trust and momentum šŸ’Ŗ
You don’t need motivation—you need a win šŸ†
Start there.

Drop it in the comments or save this post as a reminder that small tweaks in routine towards your goal is enough. šŸ’š

šŸ’© Feeling sluggish, bloated, or hungry all the time? You might be missing this crucial nutrient combo…

🌱When we talk about fiber, most people think of one thing: digestion. But not all fiber is created equal—and your body needs both kinds to feel its best!

✨ Soluble fiber dissolves in water and forms a gel-like substance in your gut. It helps:
• Slow digestion (keeping you fuller longer)
• Stabilize blood sugar
• Lower LDL cholesterol
🧠 Think: oats, apples, beans, chia seeds

šŸ’Ŗ Insoluble fiber doesn’t dissolve in water. It helps:
• Add bulk to stool (šŸ’© hello regularity!)
• Keep your digestion moving
• Prevent constipation
🌿 Think: whole grains, nuts, seeds, carrots, and leafy greens

šŸŽÆ Why variety matters:
Focusing on just one type of fiber isn’t enough. To support your gut health, blood sugar, and hormonal balance, aim to eat a mix of both soluble and insoluble fibers daily.

Try this:
āž”ļø Mix oats (soluble) with berries and flaxseed (insoluble)
āž”ļø Toss lentils into a salad with leafy greens
āž”ļø Pair apple slices with almond butter

Your gut will thank you šŸ’š

Today, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time for remembrance, gratitude, and reflection—but it’s also a reminder of the freedoms we’ve been given because of their sacrifice.

So if you’re spending time with loved ones, enjoying good food, laughing, or simply soaking in the sunshine—do it fully and soak in every moment. They didn’t fight for you to be miserable. They fought so we could live freely, love deeply, and enjoy life fully.

Take a moment to pause. Remember those who served. Then carry their legacy forward by living well.

Cravings aren’t always about willpower—sometimes, they’re a sign your body needs balance.
🌿 Fiber slows digestion and keeps your blood sugar steady, helping you avoid those mid-day crashes that have you reaching for sweets.
✨ Fiber = fullness + fewer cravings
Small habit, big impact!
šŸŽÆ Aim for 25g+ per day for women, 30g+ for men.

Your gut (and cravings) will thank you!
