"Fuchsia" from Margaret Ooyen Lemke is included in our current art exhibition from the Colored Pencil Society of America. "Fuchsia was created on hot press watercolor paper using various lightfast colored pencils. The creamy, waxy look was achieved using odorless mineral spirits and several layers of color. This gives a lovely smooth blend to transitions of color and texture. The framing really brings this piece to life and pops the bright fuchsia tones."

Our current art exhibition from the Colored Pencil Society of America continues and includes "Come Hither" from Elizabeth Kincaid. "Come Hither is of a Lace Cap Hydrangea in my front yard. It was part of a bush planting project I did, and this is my favorite of them all." We'd love for you to come and visit this beautiful exhibition in person!
