12 Days of iCare · Day 9 – Elevating Resident Voices
On October 3, Resident Council Presidents from across iCare Health Network gathered at the Aqua Turf Club for the annual Voices Forum—a day dedicated to connection, learning, and empowerment.
Residents, staff, and state partners came together to strengthen Resident Councils, share ideas on leadership and communication with administration, and advance our work with the Moving Forward Coalition Initiative. As part of this statewide pilot, iCare is supporting residents at Touchpoints at Manchester, Parkville Care Center, and 60 West in shaping meaningful daily life within their homes.
A highlight of the day was hearing from Bobby Willis, Westside Care Center Resident Council President and Executive Board Member of the State Resident Council, who shared powerful insights on resident leadership.
At iCare, we believe that listening to and uplifting resident voices strengthens our programs and deepens the sense of belonging across every care center—and the Voices Forum was a celebration of that commitment.
