Virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid
We are offering a FREE virtual Adult Mental Health First Aid class with the Naugatuck Valley Health District. The training will be held over 2 days (must attend both days via Zoom) and is open to Meriden residents and community organizations.

There is a 2-hour, self-paced online course that will need to be done before attending the virtual instructor-led sessions. Participants will get a certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, valid for 3 years.

The Office of Governor Ned Lamont has activated the state’s Severe Cold Weather Protocol from 12:00 Noon today, Sunday, February 22, through at least Tuesday, February 24, at 12 noon.

Anyone needing resources in Meriden should follow the attached instructions.

The warming center in Meriden, operated by the Middlesex Meriden Wallingford Coordinated Access Network, is open 7:00pm - 7:00am and serves individuals 18 and older.
