Supporting individuals and families across Connecticut with trusted caregivers and presence that truly matters. At Franciscan Ever There Care our motto is "Your Home, Your Needs, Our Mission". We are dedicated to keeping our clients safe and comfortable in their own homes. Our services cover a range of non-medical needs including: companionship, homemaking, grooming, bathing and dressing, medication reminders, and 24 hour live-in care. All of our staff members are carefully selected through a stringent hiring process. We are founded by the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist, Franciscan Ever There Care believes in the dignity of the human person and the sacredness of human life. Our non-profit, faith-based agency is centered in the intrinsic value of each human person and is guided by the values and principles of the Roman Catholic Church.

Celebrating February Birthdays at the Meriden Senior Center! 🎂🎉

Franciscan Ever There Care had the pleasure of spending time at the Meriden Senior Center celebrating February birthdays with some truly wonderful members of our community! 💜
It was such a joy to share cake, laughter, and meaningful conversations — and we are so grateful for the opportunity to speak about the services we proudly provide through Franciscan Ever There Care as well as Franciscan Home Care & Hospice Care.

We just can’t stop the fun when it comes to serving our community! 🎉💙

Today at the Waterbury Senior Center, our team showed up in full force—our bilingual Care Coordinator meeting and greeting, our Operations Supervisor calling bingo numbers , our Quality Care Nurse Sydney present and connecting with everyone, and me joining in as Director sharing who we are!

We met so many amazing people, shared warm winter gifts and sweet treats ❄️🍬, and had the chance to talk about our services along with our affiliate Franciscan Home Care & Hospice Care.

At Franciscan Ever There Care, we believe exceptional care begins before our caregivers ever step into a client’s home. 💚
Today, we spent a meaningful day in our Waterbury office, focused on in-house learning, teaching, and professional growth — ensuring our caregivers feel confident, supported, and prepared to serve with compassion and dignity.
As a small token of appreciation, our caregivers were “winter gifted” with sweet treats and hand warmers — because as they travel to and from our clients’ homes, we want them to feel just as cared for as the families they serve. ❄️🤍
These moments of connection, education, and encouragement are what make our team so special.

Starting the New Year with some 🤩.
What a joyful day spent with the wonderful community at Naugatuck Senior Center! 🎉

We shared laughs, played bingo (and yes—some of us even had the honor of calling the numbers!), and loved being able to provide delicious pastries, brownies, and bingo prizes. The room was filled with smiles, stories, and so much heart.

We were truly touched by the conversations, the curiosity about our services, and the opportunity to share the Franciscan mission of compassion, dignity, and presence that guides Franciscan Ever There Care in everything we do.
Thank you, Naugatuck Senior Center, for welcoming us so warmly and allowing us to have an absolute ball with you. We are grateful for the connection—and this is only the beginning.

🌟 Employee of the Month Spotlight 🌟

This month, we are proud to recognize Sarai for her extraordinary dedication and heart for caregiving. 💙

Sarai was assigned to a client who was hesitant to accept care due to prior experiences. In just one week, Sarai rebuilt trust and helped restore the client’s confidence and sense of independence. With patience and compassion, she supported the client in returning to activities she enjoys, reconnecting with her community, and overcoming the fear of welcoming a new caregiver to assist with activities of daily living.
Through her empathy and unwavering commitment, Sarai provides not only excellent care, but also genuine companionship.

She is truly deserving of recognition as Employee of the Month and is an invaluable member of our FETC team. Thank you, Sarai, for the difference you make every day! 💐
