TIME FOR ANOTHER EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT! 🔦

Meet Trevor, RN!
After nine years in nursing - most spent in the ER - he made the jump to home health last year and joined Bluebird. In his words it is “the best work environment I’ve ever been part of,” where the team feels like family and the support is constant.

Trevor loves healthcare because he’s fascinated by disease processes, wellness, and how the body works. As a former athlete who still loves weightlifting and nutrition, he brings that passion straight into patient care.

When he’s not working, you’ll find him with his wife (and fellow Bluebird nurse!), Amanda, and their two boys, Hunter and Wyatt - camping, golfing, road-tripping, and exploring Idaho. After moving from Portland four years ago, Idaho now “truly feels like home.” 💙🐦

“I chose hospice because being there for people at such a sensitive time in their lives is an honor. Compassion, understanding, and empathy are the gifts I feel called to share - and the gratitude I see from patients and families often brings me to tears on my drive home.”

Heidi has been with Bluebird for almost two years, starting in home care, then earning her CNA at CWI and stepping into hospice full-time. She says one of her favorite things about Bluebird is the family-friendly atmosphere and how much the team truly cares about its employees. Plus, getting to pet our executive director's dog Kona during office visits is a huge bonus! 🐾💙

✨ Fun fact: Heidi grew up on a boat in the California Delta from 1st grade through high school - first on a 37-ft sailboat and later in a floating home.

Miranda started with Bluebird as a CNA in 2021 (WOW!) and, through hard work and a whole lot of heart, finished school and grew into her current role as our Volunteer Coordinator. Her passion for serving others is written all over her story. If you’re looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity, she’s your person. 💙

Boo!! 👻 Bluebird Health wrapped up October with a festive Halloween potluck and costume contest that was a scary fun!! Congrats to Miranda Soelberg our office wizard with a Teams wand and HCHB cape!! Kerry Troy Heninger for being the scariest! Kyle for being the funniest hockey guy. Honorable mentions; Grin Reaper, Spice Girls, Avacado, Pirate, Cereal Killer, the Nurse from Hell, and more!

Our team enjoyed good food, great company, and lots of shared laughs and hugs.

Grateful for moments like these that remind us how special our Bluebird family is. 🦋
