Some people don’t just work at a place… they become part of the foundation of it.
Katy, 25 years. That alone says everything.
For most of those years, she was the dental hygienist so many of our patients came to know and love. The kind of provider people requested by name. The one who remembered your stories, asked about your kids, and somehow made every appointment feel a little more personal and a lot more comfortable. She built relationships that didn’t just last through treatment plans, they lasted through seasons of life.
And then, as if she hadn’t already given so much, she stepped into a new role in the office. The behind-the-scenes role. The one where she helped keep everything and everyone on track… especially Dr. McRae. Truly not sure which job was harder, but she did both with the same level of care, consistency, and quiet strength.
Katy is dependable in a way that’s rare. Loyal in a way that can’t be taught. And she leads with a heart that has impacted every single one of us.
We’ve had the privilege of watching her not just grow in her career, but in motherhood too. The way she shows up for her family, the way she carries herself, the way she gives so much of herself to the people around her… she has been such a steady, beautiful example for so many of the girls in this office.
We will miss the chats.
We will miss the advice.
We will miss the laughs that somehow made even the busiest days feel lighter.
We will miss you.
But more than anything, we are so grateful for you.
Grateful for the years.
Grateful for the impact.
Grateful that we got to be part of your story, and that you were such a big part of ours.
This isn’t just a goodbye, it’s a celebration of everything you’ve given and everything that’s still ahead for you.
We cannot wait to see what you do next.
We love you, Katy 🤍
