Unbelievable that we have to say this, but here we are.

Please look to the science before you make a decision regarding Tylenol use (or any medication/supplement for that matter!) during pregnancy. The information that was released yesterday was not only harmful and irresponsible, it gaslights mothers into thinking that they may have done something to harm their child during pregnancy. This is FALSE!

It is important to also note that Autism is NOT a disease - it is a neurodevelopmental condition that many people have and live absolutely wonderful productive lives with! Some of the most intelligent people we know may fall somewhere on the spectrum of Autism and not even know it.

Lastly, telling mothers to “just tough it out” instead of taking Tylenol for a fever or pain is, again, irresponsible and frankly barbaric. This information and recommendation may actually do more harm as now mothers using this misinformation may not seek the care they need in fear of the repercussions.

Please follow the evidence and the science. Speak to your medical provider before making decisions like this about your health.
