🌟 Counselor-in-Training Spotlight 🌟

It's Wednesday which means it is time to meet another counselor-in-training, Raina!

Hi, I’m Raina and I’m passionate about mental health and well-being. I’ve always been a natural mender, drawn to helping people and finding solutions that create harmony and happiness. With a bachelor’s degree in Communication and a minor in Spanish from Northern Arizona University, I’ve learned how to communicate effectively and connect with others, which aligns perfectly with my desire to support people in meaningful ways. In my work, I take a logical and compassionate approach, meeting people where they are, and focusing on what’s best for everyone involved. I truly believe in the power of mental health services and the positive impact it can have on our lives. My goal is to continue making a difference in the lives of those around me and bringing more understanding and care to the world. Outside of work, you’ll probably find me listening to music, going to concerts or music festivals, playing volleyball, hanging out with friends, or enjoying the outdoors. These are the moments that recharge me and keep me motivated to spread positivity wherever I go.

Call 208-373-1813 today or go to our website at https://isu-cs.titaniumhwc.com/ and complete the "Service Inquiry Form" to get started with Raina or one of our other counselors. We look forward to hearing from you!

*COUNSELOR IN TRAINING SPOTLIGHT*

-Liz-

My name is Liz(she/her). I am a counselor in training at the ISU Meridian Counseling Clinic. I am pursuing this career path because I understand the complexities of life and how much it helps to have a safe, non-judgmental space to process and work through them. My view of counseling is that it is a collaborative effort. As your counselor, we will work together to help you gain insight and understanding about the current challenges you are facing. This can be done by evaluating past experiences, relationships, and lifestyles to determine what aspects aren’t working and may need adjustments. I believe in people's capacity to accept personal responsibility and make the changes necessary to live a more fulfilling life.
