Lack of direction, apathy, stagnation, not operating at full capacity, aimless, failing to make progress, loss of vitality, hollow or empty, joyless, aimless, lacking goals or lacking progress. Have these words ever described you or parts of your life?

If so, these are descriptors of the term LANGUISHING. Languishing is the lack of flourishing.

In psychology, FLOURISHING is described by words like meaning, purpose, self-acceptance, optimism, positive relationships, mastery, self-determination, resilience, personal growth, vitality, engagement, self-esteem.

Psalm 92:12-14 says, "The righteous will flourish like a palm tree.....Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing."

As believers it is part of our inheritance!!! My mission in starting membership group is to help as many women as I can to FLOURISH and GROW into their true inheritance in the Kingdom!

I believe this ability to produce fruit and to flourish is directly tied to knowing our IDENTITY and understanding the purpose that we were created for. PURPOSE gives DIRECTION. And having no purpose leads to aimless activity, running in circles, and lack of joy.

When you KNOW what you were created to BE, then you can begin to know what you were created to DO! Doing the thing you were created for, is a place of being FULLY ALIVE and a place of JOY! God gives you grace to do the thing He created you to do!

Worthy Girls Spring Semester is Now open for registration!

We will meet for 12 weeks on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30 beginning on February 3, 2026. We will skip March 10 for Spring Break.

The focus is on building healthy identity, emotional intelligence, communication and relationship skills and self-confidence in a fun way!

I am a Christian Counselor that has served the Meridian area for over 25 years. My passion is to see our daughters develop the skills for a healthy identity and relationships that will carry them into adulthood.
