Class Descriptions:

Faith Fueled Fit -
Strength and endurance training with an emphasis on functional movement patterns. Classes combine resistance training, body weight movements, circuit and high-intensity interval training. Faith Fueled Flow-
Learn, develop and combine fitness poses to build strength, stability and stamina physically & mentally; while using God's word and prayer to grow spiritually. Faith Fueled Fire-
Move to choreographed postures building courage & core centered strength, empowering physical and spiritual growth. Faith Fueled Freedom-
Reset and restore your body and mind by stretching physically and allowing a release of anything hindering you from the freedom of God's grace and love.

‘Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus!’

This is something we say often in class. Helping us stay laser focused when we’re struggling. Keeping our eyes steady to enable us to keep our balance. Speaking metaphorically as well as literally, fixing our gaze on what keeps us strong, steady and grounded.

As we look to this passage notice we are called to strip off and throw down our sin and run with endurance! Keep our eyes on the one who perfects our faith, and acknowledging the greatest gift we could ever be given His sacrifice on the cross and His current status as our savior and King! As we’re celebrating His death and resurrection this Easter, reflect on what we are called to do in response.

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.

Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.”

Feeling a little unstable lately?? Let’s work on ankle strength and find your balance, safely. You can use a chair as a prop or a block works great as well.

Think about stabilizing your core muscles by drawing your navel in and gently lifting through your pelvic floor. Find a focal point to hold your gaze and slow these movements down as much as you need. *make sure to do the other side as well! 😉

We got to help get things ready for the opening of Love INC Boise’s new Blessing Barn Thrift Shop this week!!!

If you don’t know, this organization blesses our community abundantly through many different avenues, but they’re just about to open the doors to their brand new, absolutely beautiful thrift store just off Fairview in Boise!

🤲They are an easy and impactful place to volunteer with or without a group.

⏩You can follow all they have going on and get connected with them on their website boiseloveinc.org or socials .

🛍️And make sure to check out the grand opening of the Blessing Barn just after Easter!

If your low back is tight or achy, stretching the front hip flexors and quads can help! This short clip also helps you stretch the ankles and wrists (often forgotten about 😉) and finishes with the always popular cat/cow stretches for the spine.

*A couple tips~
Stretching the quads can be a little tricky on the floor. Use pillows or blocks to help keep the stretch out of the knees. You can bring the knees together as your body allows with the heels and ankles outside the sits bones.

Arching the upper back, place the hands low enough to be in your back pockets, keeping the hips stacked right over the knees.

In the chair stretch out one ankle / foot at a time, tucking the toes to start and then turning the toes under with gentle pressure on the top of the foot. Then roll out the ankle.

God’s word encourages us to lean on Him. Don’t let fears and anxiousness drag you down. Take care of your mind, body and spirit in a way that honors God and you won’t regret it!

After the Foundations class yesterday a student came up to say how much easier it now is to crouch down and crawl to reach things in the back of her floor cabinets. We all have things in life that are physically challenging and are hard to continue doing safely as we age. BUT adding intentional strength building and mobility training will keep you capable- longer!

Have you been sitting all day and need a little extra movement to stretch out your back and hips?? Here’s a quick and simple series you can do in the chair or on the floor to loosen up those muscles. **don’t forget to do both sides! 😉

God calls us to be strong and courageous and to do that we need to have strong, capable bodies. Step outside your comfort zone today and add some new movements into your day so you can feel your best!

Our Story

Faith Fueled Fitness is a wholistic approach to health and wellness that equips, encourages and empowers you to live your fullest life. Health is important. Spiritual, emotional and physical health is what God wants for us all. We want to equip, empower and encourage you to live a balanced, healthy and meaningful life. We offer a well-rounded approach to physical fitness including faith based yoga and pilates classes, small group functional fitness classes as well as one-on-one personal training options. We believe that all parts of a person (mind, body, spirit) are connected and designed by God to work collectively to optimize health and well-being. We strive to offer resources to meet needs in each of these areas. This includes nutrition and health coaching, fitness programming and faith based encouragement and support.
