OGA OGA is dedicated to the idea of healthier, vibrant communities - one woman, one family at a time. Our goal is to achieve positive outcomes for women.

At OGA, we are dedicated to the idea of healthier, vibrant communities - one woman, one family at a time. That is why we have created a healthcare model for Treasure Valley women that expands their circle of healthcare advocates and gains them access to expanded medical expertise. Our team-based approach to caring for you "the OGA Way" is expressly designed for safety and quality. We apply the best and most current medical science to individual health situations for more consistent, responsible care.

Twice each year, our physicians and leadership team step away briefly from OB call responsibilities to focus on something just as important: the future of care.

Our Annual Business Retreat is dedicated to strategic planning, collaboration, and leadership work that helps us continue improving how we serve our patients and our community.

We are grateful for a team that is always committed to learning, growing, and strengthening the care we provide to you and your families. ๐Ÿ’œ

As part of our National Womenโ€™s Month celebration, today we are highlighting Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell.

In 1849, she became the first woman in the United States to earn a medical degree.
Her determination opened doors and helped shape the future of women in medicine.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month.

Endometriosis affects an estimated 1 in 10 women, yet many spend years searching for answers. Increased awareness helps patients feel heard, supported, and connected to the care they deserve.

Happy National Women's Month!

In 1952, Dr. Virginia Apgar introduced a scoring system that transformed newborn care. The Apgar Score is still used around the world within minutes of birth.

This Womenโ€™s History Month, we honor the women whose ideas continue to shape modern medicine.

Longer evenings mean more time for walks, fresh air, and small habits that support your heart.

Heart health is not just about appointments. It is about movement, stress management, rest, and listening to your body.

As the days get brighter, let this be your reminder to check in with yourself.

A very special OGA celebration ๐Ÿ’œ
We are so excited to celebrate Molly, one of our patient access leads, and the arrival of her sweet baby girl.
Anelise was born January 10, 2026 at 8:32 pm, weighing 7 lbs 9 oz, and delivered by our very own Dr. Kopperud.
Nothing makes us happier than supporting our own team through every stage of life and care.

Today we recognize National Women Physicians Day and honor the women who have shaped the field of medicine. Pictured is Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, the first woman in the United States to earn a medical degree in 1849. Her determination opened the door for generations of women physicians to follow. Today, women physicians continue that legacy through leadership, expertise, and compassionate care. We are proud to work alongside the women physicians at OGA who serve our patients and community every day.
